Family Visit

Derek's neice and her boyfriend came to Baltimore for a visit. We took them around to see the sites, sounds and smells of Baltimore. Federal Hill and Hamden. We went to DC for the 4th of July. We even found an excuse for a party. "SWEAT - The BGE rate increase party" in honor of the infamous 75% rate utility increase. Oh joy!

Reception

The actual reception was held in the atrium of this building. It was very spacious. There was an open bar and a lot of bad dancing, like any wedding. There are some dark pics from the camera phone because the nice camera was stolen this next week. Sigh... There were several pics from the wedding on the camera that are now lost.

Rooftop Cocktails

The reception was held at a hotel near the White House. This place had a rooftop bar overlooking the White House, Ellipse and Washington Monument. It was amazing. Matt & Sarah arrived and mingled.

Wedding Card

We found this blank card in Hamden. Derek couldn't resist and wrote: "What A Catch!"

Matt & Sarah's Wedding

It was a beautiful day for a June Wedding. Our friends Matt & Sarah had a lovely ceremony in old town Alexandria, Va. The weather was perfect and the church was great.

Lazy morning

Cesky sometimes wakes me in the morning to let him out. I'll run him downstairs and out the back door. After getting him back inside and upstairs, I'll visit our own facilities. By the time I get back to the bedroom my spot on the bed has mysteriously disappeared. I love my furry bedmates.

Baltimore Gay Pride Festival

Baltimore Pride Festival was as festive as ever. We hung out with Rudy, Jeff, Kevin and Sean, as well as our furry extended family. The main stage had my former chorus, New Wave Singers of Baltimore, performing.

Baltimore Gay Pride Parade

It was a beautiful day at Baltimore Gay Pride. I participated in the parade with Moveable Feast, the organization I did the ride with. The parade is only a few blocks long and ends with a block party. Tiffany was the head liner this year.

Hartford Waterfront

We drove across the Connecticut River for a view of the Hartford skyline.

Elizabeth Park, Hartford, CT

A beautiful park in the middle of the city. Perfect weather for a stroll.

Hartford, Connecticut

While in San Francisco for the wedding I found out that two of my cousins were going to go to Hartford to visit two of their siblings. It was a great excuse to make a trip up and see some cousins that I haven't seen in years. My cousin Victor is a popular guy and lives in a latino neighbothood. His phone kept ringing from all the friends trying to ask him to go out to clubs or to parties.
