Be Kind to the Monsters

These inflatable pieces of art were on display near the childrens area. The kids loved 'em and I have to admit that we liked them too.

Artscape - Day 2

We walked back down and just enjoyed the wonderful weather. We walked around Firebird and took some fun pics. We people watched and just had a nice day.

Citizen Cope on stage

The show was a lot of fun and there was even a light show. Citizen was supposed to end at 10 and played until about 10:45pm in front of a packed street. The cops showed up with their lights flashing. The show finally came to an end.

The annual free arts festival in Baltimore! Great art for sale, great bands playing and lots of interesting things to see!

It's hot!

This week the heat was awful! If you look closely you'll see this picture shows that the outside temperature reached 100° F! I didn't want to leave the two rooms that had air conditioning in the house but I had to take the dog to the vet.

Day two

The heat is rising and the dog keeps having to go to the vet for his blood tests. He's not happy about either.

Visiting the Pet Er

Cesky found some rat poison in the backyard. We don't know how it got there but someone left it all over the alley. It smells like peanut butter and has the poison. He ate half of the cube before we realized. We had to induce vomitting and had to run him to the vet several times for blood tests. He was not looking forward to it!

Beautiful night

After the concert we walked back to the car during a beautiful evening.

Guster in concert!

Interpretive Dance to Ray Lamontagne

After drinks at James Joyce and some beers at Peir VI Pavilion we sat on the lawn and enjoyed the music of Ray Lamontagne. One of our party had a little too much to drink. At least he enjoyed himself at the show!

The quality of the video isn't great, it was done with my camera phone, but I think you'll get the idea.

Guster at Peir 6 Pavilion

I met Derek and our friends Jim and Jen.

Partied too late

Stayed up too late, drank too much and a big brunch. The drive home became quiet very quickly.

Brunch

Sabrina's Cafe near the Italian Market. We were seated outside in the shade, at first. Of course, the sun moved and we got exposed to the heat. It was a very hot day!

Philadelphia Womens Triathlon

Way too early in the morning! We got to the Schukill River and cheered Laveta on. She finished well and had a great time. We think she's hooked!
