The Adventures of Flat Stanley

Flat Stanley stops & smells the flowers
and meets some of my peeps.

My nephew sent me a school project. Flat Stanley is squashed flat by a bulletin board. Now Flat Stanley can visit friends by travelling in an envelope. The Flat Stanley Project is a group of teachers who want to provide students with another reason to write by sending Flat Stanley to people around the world and getting him to participate in an adventure with the receiver.

I took Flat Stanley with me to see some friends last night who had just returned from a trip to London. I saw some beautiful daffodils outside their house and Stanley decided to stop and smell the flowers and joined us to see some pics of our friends trip to London and hear about their own adventure.

Flat Stanley was with us when we went to see Peru Negro (see the March 16, 2006 entry) but I didn't think to get any pictures of him in the auditorium. I'll do better from now on!

You'll see more adventures of Stanley over the next couple of weeks. He'll be going to San Francisco with me too!
